Hi, I am a new member doing some research. I hope that I am entering this in the right place.

My great, great grandfather Robert Dillon (Irish) was a seaman aboard the SS Storm when it was torpedoed on 9th Sept 1917. We are trying to find out if the ship wreck was ever brought ashore and may be stored somewhere.

I can't believe that she still exists, other than in bits on the sea bed.

Although lost in 1917, she was still listed in Lloyd's Register 1918 when her master was R. J. Elliot, so presumably he may have been on her when lost.
