Torrid & Torrent

Could anyone tell me what became of the RMAS vessels TORRID and TORRENT, built by Clelands in 1972 and 1971 respectively?

TORRID was listed on the de-com/disposal list for 1991-2.
Shipspotting has a pic of her as a fire fighting training vessel at Europoort in 2002.

Dave, just found a note that TORRENT became KYE TORRENT in 2001.
Still in Equasis as sold then to Suffolk Petroleum Services, Lowestoft, converted to research vessel, laid up from 2000.

Thank you both. So TORRID is probably a burned out shell by the look of her. TORRENT still in one piece but not particularly active.

In the 1970's this duo were everywhere, if you served in boats (submarines) you were followed around incessantly as if they were at the end of a tow line.

The boat in which i served '73 - '76 did the RN's most extensive type 24 torpedo trials, up the Kyles, Gib, Portland, wherever, and always in their black and manky buff were either Torrid or Torrent, which if it has not clicked yet, were TRV's, Torpedo Recovery Vessels.
Thats all folks. Sean.
