You just have to look at her Stern, you will have a good idea where she was built and what she led to, one of the greatest Warships ever designed and built in WW2 which went on (with some changes) to do the business in waters around the World for different Allied Navies the “Flower Class” Corvette. Fortunately Canada kept one and the Greeks otherwise that superb Film the “Cruel Sea” would never have been made with proper ships rather than computer generated ones of today.
The RN never kept one :oops:
