No. 8 Dock Smiths Dock

Having just recently witnessed the filling in of the Docks at North Shields I thought that some pictures of the docks in their Haydays might be nice.
This is an artist impression of No. 8 Dock by Sydney G. Ferris dated 1954.

Another photograph of the new dock with the added bonus of a great view down river. Also a photograph looking north over North Shields with the old gas works, and Ralph Gardner school in the distance.
