Sadly looking rather neglected in the morning sun, 20 May 2018. Maybe the museum is short of funds?

Shame if she can't be looked after, especially as a local build. Probably not many Wm. Gray vessels left now.

I totally agree with you! I took this in March and you can see the rust on the lower bow.

It is indeed a shame, I don't suppose she fits in with the new portfolio of the re badged Museum at Hartlepool especially as she cannot be Drydocked. Changing a damaged "Spider Arm" on the Paddle Feathering Gear whilst afloat was a bit of a challenge when working off Planks trying to remove a rusted and slightly bent pin with a Flogging Hammer and trying to keep your balance :o although better to fall in the water than hit the bottom of a Drydock :o
You may think wear a Lifejacket when doing the job whilst afloat, unfortunately the Lifejackets were the old Kapok filled B.O.T type ( Pre the Yellow and Blue "Victory" type ) which made you look as though you had a Chest like Jayne Mansfield :x which was awkward to wear in the confines of the Paddle Box and the Paddle Gear itself
