Deutsche IW at Berlin-Spandau and no shipyard link on M/M so she may have been the only seagoing vessel they built.

I think they built quite a few seagoing vessels, have at least 7 in my collection and there seems a lot more from the yard on Shipspotting.

We went to Berlin years ago from Rostock and I think I remember seeing Sea/River ships at some point. I'm just looking at the Map and wondering how they get to the sea. The round about way seems to be via the Elbe and out at Hamburg or via Lakes and Canals to come out at Rostock.

What will technology do next? A database with sight. All my databases are the old style blind ones.

Thanks George, some reasonable sized stuff in that list.

I must admit Berlin is not a place I would put high on the list for Shipbuilding, but the waterways of Europe are vast and many, so all things are possible!

George,

Yes, quite an impressive list but, like Paul, I initially searched in vain for the appropriate listing on Miramar before I posted my view of the DANIX ... maybe one that has just slipped Rodger's net for the time being?
