In my opinion a splendid view by Albert Weller of the MAHOUT entering the Tees. (Note: broken up at Blyth)

One of the few Brocklebank's afloat when my interest started in November 1960 which I did not see, although I did see her 1963 successor. I suppose the main reason would be that she was scrapped early in 1961!
MAHOUT: ON 147347; tonnages - 8089 gt, 4814 nt, 11636 dwt; dimensions - 488.2 x 62.1 x 27.5 feet; 2 steam turbine engines by D. Rowan & Co. Ltd., Glasgow; 12-1925 completed by Wm. Hamilton & Co. Ltd., Port Glasgow, as the MAHOUT for Thos. & Jno. Brocklebank Ltd., Liverpool. 1961 sold to British Iron & Steel Corporation for demolition, allocated to Hughes Bolckow Ltd., and arrived at Blyth 2.3.1961.
