Interesting top pic showing "Dutch Spirit" at No.9 Quay.
Her usual berth was at the South Wharf in the Dock Cut where she loaded
nylon salt for Holland. However when there were big ship movements
in or out of the dock she had to move off the South Wharf to let them pass.
We usually moved her into any vacant berth in the dock and out again
after the movements. Presumably this is why she was at No. 9.
The Master was usually none too pleased at having to move!!!
