Disposal Data:

foundered 48.21N/28.18W 7.11.76 [Hamburg-Canada, calcinated alumina]
Owners as ZEKI were Sonmez Denizcilik ve Ticaret AS. Istanbul.


Not something we will see at Blyth again, I suspect...........a FOUR tug job!

We had the contract for fresh meat and veg for her when she was on the alcan run from Port Esquival to Blyth.
Happy days and still remember the Chief Steward's name - Odd Anderson !
Ran in tandem with Baron Belhaven and Cape Race

Been looking Polytrader up on the web and apparently she was lost on her first trip for her new owners
