Lots of piling sounds going on when I passed the fence this afternoon
The nearest jetty is Bates south where the inshore fishing boats berth
Behind that is Bates. The fence is the original fence on the walkway to the berth and it looks like piles have been pushed in at the north end of the berth.
The crane is on the land side and so is what appears to be the pile driver

That desperate to photograph something after only three ships, excluding the A2B boats, last month

If you scroll down to the computer generated image it shows a vessel on the berth and above/behind it new hardstanding and a whare house which extends right to the riverbank.
I hope this is wrong as it means we/I cannot get as close as is possible at the minute.
Wonder if the port do photography passes or if I can fin any tunnels from the old pit which runs underneath
