There was a time when the N.U.S. would complain bitterly that its Members (Deck Crew, Stokers and Greasers) had to be Berthed in the Forepeak and suffered from the motion of the ship when others were comfortably Berthed Amidships, now it seems the norm for all Crew to be Berthed at the pointy end where there is usually a lot of Negative G. floating around especially in bad weather.
