1st of all the gravel came out of the ship, up the conveyor and over the road, that would not be allowed either. The yard where the gravel was stored is now all being regenerated to offices and 'mixed use'. I think that means they have not thought it through yet or have not got anyone lined up to use it, so that covers a multitude of sins. To the left is the old Ferguson's Transport Ltd yard which became a wood storage yard, then a mess, sorry reclaimed logs business so by flattening that it at least tidied it up.
Health and safety - no. Common sense - yes, but the latter is in short supply today.
