Not at all a lucky ship if I recall correctly! That distinctive funnel insignia had, indeed, been derived from the fact she had previously sunk/stranded as the JURGEN (although I do not have details to hand). Suffice to say her demise (as recorded by Miramar) was: collision (KOTOR) 51.49N/2.30E 5.3.86 [Boston-Antwerp, grain]

Yes, she took on the 23,072 Gross Bulk Carrier KOTOR (1965) and lost............the Kotor lived to see another day and was broken up in 1991.

I've found the relevant details of her earlier incident with the assistance of indexes for Marine News:

MN 5/1971: capsized at Arno, Lake Malar 19/3/70 while loading and sank the following day. She is a total loss.

Except! MN 12/72: has been refloated, reconditioned, and returned to service under the Cypriot flag.

Presumably it was thereafter she was bestowed with the insignia of the sunken ship ... only to be totally lost several years later.
