NEW PYLONS ACROSS RIVER TEES

The relevance to our shipping interests is that these new pylons replace the existing ones across the river above the North Tees oil jetties over to Teesport. Although I must admit I have not yet spotted this work in progress (I think I should have!) the new route is upriver from the present location, adjacent to and downriver of the former Smith's Docks site. The increased clearance will allow the MPI vessels to pass safely with their legs fully extended. Apparently, it is quite a tight fit at present!
