Ellis says " It is a ship my grandfather sailed on in the early 1900s, 6th January 1911 & discharged 7th April 1911 in Sunderland. A Mr W Sadler was the Chief Officer, & my grandfather was Gustav Trautman. The Master was R [K] Lander. It was a photo in my grand father's collection. He was born in Latvia & married an English girl before migrating to Australia shortly after his discharge from that voyage"
