Under construction by Swan Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd., Wallsend, June 1968. Designed for British Rail services on Harwich/Hook Of Holland route.

Did she suffer from excessive vibration, I sailed on her Harwich-Hook late 1976 and seem to remember a lot of it!

Disposal Data:
BU Alang 23.9.08 & beached 26.9.08
At a later date the Rustons were replaced with Twin Wartsila 16V32 Diesels developing 16,110 bhp.
