The relentless familiar final tow to Turkiye where so much white ensign tonnage has been dismantled prior to reuse as Sultans steel. No British bids whatsover.
Would have been a superb sinkex target, but that is too environmentally disagreeable, to some, actually, one or two, the minority.

Bristol was taken off the wall, Fountain Lake Jetty, today wednesday 11 june 2025 at 0630 by Bountiful and Indulgent, slip to Protug87 for tow out of Portsmouth harbour then the familiar cruise to her eastern Med destiny. Shown at entrance to Pompey harbour, Fort Blockhouse behind.

Many claims she is the final RN Falklands war 1982 warship afloat. False, as all 5 RN nukes are still to be dismantled, Spartan, Splendid, Valiant, Courageous and Conqueror which still holds a unique record after 43 years. Conquerors achievement always infuriated the Vickers Barrow builders, she was the only fleet boat they never built.

There is no doubt copyright on this image, whoever it is / they are, i give full credits.
