This lovely vessel FAITHFUL (BF 187) registered in Banff, Scotland, has been in Hartlepool Fish Quay for some weeks. One of the lifeboat crew informs me that it has been 'acquired' by a local man. We will see!

The FAITHFUL arriving back in Hartlepool following a trip out into the Tees Bay. I notice she has a sign 'Guard' on the side. Any ideas on this?

The Faithful in Hartlepool Fish Quay.

I'm reliably informed she has since been sold.

More details will be added if the information is forthcoming.

She was bought by a Hartlepool man in June 2012. He was kind enough to invite me on board her for a look around.

She was used, for a while, as a 'guard' vessel at the Offshore Wind Farm near Redcar.

But she's about to leave for a new home very soon.

I was told but didn't take the information in as I was too busy taking photographs!

Acting as a Guard vessel can be quite lucrative but I imagine its BORING!
