Just before my time, Ron.

So I'm not the little one in the pushchair. She must have been pushing it at her peril because the gaps between the timbers are quite wide. Not the first time my bike wheel has dropped and I've gone over the handlebars. :lol:

I'm sure I've seen this one before, possibly via Gordon Smith, its a great picture though

And far too early for me
Same problem with the bike wheel though
and the bird tish at the bottom of the jetty was something to avoid as well

The original photo is from the files of Northumberland County Fire Brigade who I signed up for in 1970.

Bike wheels. Quayside was dangerous as well which I learned to my horror but only did it once.
